ADA/Accessibility FAQs and Policies
The St. Charles Convention Center is an ADA-compliant facility. Most entrances into the convention center are fully accessible. Accommodations for persons with disabilities include Braille signage, restrooms, and designated parking. The St. Charles Convention Center welcomes guests with disabilities and their assistive animals. While it is not mandatory, we encourage guests with assistive animals to contact facility management in advance of the event in order to most appropriately accommodate the needs of the guest and their animal.
Please note that the St. Charles Convention Center does not allow emotional support or comfort animals. No pets allowed.
Accessibility Services
This kiosk is located at Geekway HQ, to the left of the North Entrance doors of the St. Charles Convention Center. Patrons with disabilities may use this kiosk for registration. While Geekway does not require documentation of your disability, we do request honesty.
Please note that at our busiest times, there may still be a wait at accessibility services to receive your badge. If you wish to avoid lines altogether, we recommend that you arrive at registration about an hour after opening time on the first day of Geekway or 30 minutes on all other days.
Accessible Seating
Several endcap tables near the entrances to the main open gaming hall are designated as accessible seating (look for signs on the back of chairs to spot those designated areas). Those with wheelchairs may use the end of the table. Their accompanying party members may use the chairs adjacent.
We ask that you only use these spaces if you — or someone in your group — needs accessible seating.
