When Geekway hosts an event with Door Prizes, they are subject to the following general rules: 

• Every badge receives one entry for door prize selection. Every attendee at Geekway has an equal chance of winning a door prize.

• A given attendee is only eligible to win one door prize per convention. 

• The winner may have a delegate pick up a door prize that they have won — to do this, simply give your badge to the person who is picking up the door prize. 

• Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian to receive a door prize.

• Geekway will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner of any unclaimed prizes during the event. Should the prize remain unclaimed by the end of the event, Geekway will keep the door prize and use it for a future event.

• Geekway staff members and immediate household members are not eligible to win door prizes.

• Specifics on timing of door prize announcement and specific rules for door prizes will be available at each Geekway event.
